We only cover four towns.
That is deliberate. A home watch company spread across the whole Cape cannot get to your house quickly when a pipe lets go on a Sunday in January. We can.

What a check covers
Every visit follows the same walk-through.
Nothing is left to whoever happens to be on the schedule that week. The same list gets worked every time, so a problem that started small in November does not become a discovery in May.
Outside
- Doors, windows and locks secure
- Roof, gutters and siding from the ground
- Storm and wind damage
- Exterior faucets and irrigation
- Signs of entry, pests or nesting
- Driveway, walkways and grounds

- Every room walked, floor to ceiling
- Ceilings and walls for water stains
- Under every sink for leaks
- Toilets run and traps filled
- Windows and sliders latched
- Odors, damp and mildew

- Heat on and holding temperature

- Sump pump operating
- Water heater and visible plumbing
- Refrigerator and freezer running
- Alarm and thermostat status
How often we come is up to you — weekly through the winter, twice a month, or just the two weeks you're away in February. Same walk-through either way.

Who's actually walking your house.
We live here year round, and we have been doing this since 2013. That is most of what this business is — when the winter winds come up and your phone lights up with a storm warning two hundred miles away, we are already on this side of the bridge. Thirteen years of it now.
I'm a licensed Construction Supervisor and Home Improvement Contractor, so when I walk your house I'm not just noticing that a ceiling has a stain on it. I know what's above it, and roughly what it's going to take.
Small things I fix while I'm standing there. Bigger things get a plumber or an electrician who picks up when I call, because we've been working together on this stretch of the Cape for years. Either way you hear from me the same day, with photos.
My wife Chrissy runs the schedule and the reports, so if you get a note about your house it came from one of us and not from an office somewhere. Some clients want a call before anyone touches anything. Others want it handled and a note afterward. Tell me which one you are and that's how we'll run it.

Beyond the regular check
Things we handle while you're off Cape.
Opening and closing
Water on and off, systems started or shut down, the house made ready before you arrive and put to bed after you leave.
Contractor and delivery access
We meet trades, inspectors and deliveries at the house so you are not driving out from Boston to unlock a door.
Storm response
After a named storm or a hard blow, we go out and look — and you hear from us either way.
Project oversight
Work being done while you're away? We check in on it so you know it is being done correctly.
Rental turnovers
Eyes on the house between tenants, so you know what condition it was left in.
